Event Description:
There is a whole generation of
women who were not old enough to attend Beijing.
We advocate a 5th UN World Conference on Women
and Girls, instead of a Beijing 20 review.
The new women's super agency would become
known and make an impact through this conference.
The agency and the conference together would
advance the women's agenda, and further the
goal of reaching a tipping point to end patriarchy
by bringing gender balance to the world.
We want to inform and energize girls to work
toward a UN NGO 5WCW because they will be
the ones to attend and through this, they
will meet other girls and women who will be
the generation with the energy and technical
connections to further efforts to bring gender
equity to international decisions and priorities.
